| Ingredients
Mug dal - 1 cup , Rice (preferablely kalijira rice) 2 cup, Ghee 1/2 cup,Ginger 2 tsp, Bayleaf 1, Cinamon stick 2cm x 3, Boil water 5 cup , Salt - as needed, Turmeric 3 or 4 tsp, Ground red chili powder 3 or 4 tsp, Green chilli 1 or 2.

| Method
Heat ghee in pan for half minute . Add bayleaf and ginger and fry for few seconds untill the leaf turn light brown. Then add rice, dal, cinamon , turmeric, chilli and fry for 2 minute. Now add 5 cup boiled water and salt. When boil again cover with the lead and with mild heat cook for 20-25 minutes.
Garnish with deep fried onion crisp and Slice of boiled egg.
