Ingredients
9 cups flour , 3 1/4 cups brown sugar , 2 1/2 cups granulated sugar , 4 teaspoons baking soda , 1 tablespoon salt , 4 cups butter, margarine, or shortening

Method
1. In a large bowl combine flour, sugars, baking soda, and salt; stir to blend. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. , 2. Store mix in one large bag or divide into four 4-3/4-cup portions. Mix made with butter or margarine can be stored in freezer up to 4 months.
